Prime Day 2026 smart home deals: the live list

Status on October 6, prices read about 10:30 a.m. Central: the sale is live. 88 of the 99 products on the list are below their price to beat, and 87 of those are 5% or more below. I added 22 products in this update that dropped at least 5% below their price to beat. 62 of the deals are Prime-exclusive prices, so you need a Prime membership to get them.

Every product here is something I run or recommend for a local-first Home Assistant setup. For each one, “price to beat” is the lowest Amazon price I’ve recorded since late August, with the date I read it. A Prime Day price only counts as a deal if it’s below that number. The crossed-out “list price” on Amazon doesn’t count.

One that isn’t worth waiting for

The UniFi Dream Machine Pro has only used units on Amazon right now, so its row has no price. The one product worth calling out is the Home Assistant Green: it’s $199 from Home Assistant’s own distributors, and every Amazon reading I have for it since September 1 has come back at $219.00. That’s above MSRP every single time, and I’ve never recorded a discount on it. Buying direct is the better price today, sale or no sale.
