Like most Shelly products, fantastic.

I have a handful of Shelly devices and love most of them, and these are no exception. It’s a dimmer that connects over wifi and I’ve only had a couple drop-offs, and an update since has made them not disconnect in ~5 months so I think that issue is resolved (Fingers crossed this review doesn’t jinx it).

Some of my LED bulbs only activate at ~40% brightness, and I think most of the settings to adjust “0%” to the point where your bulbs activate is only available via the shelly app, which to me is not a big deal but might be annoying to someone else, which drops them from a perfect score to a 4/5 for me.

Quick verdict

The Plus Wall Dimmer is Shelly's in-wall WiFi dimmer, and like other Shelly Plus gear it runs fully local through the native Home Assistant integration with no cloud account. You need a neutral and a four-wire install, and it lives on WiFi rather than a mesh, but it gives you local smart dimming without a coordinator.
