Quick verdict

The Presence Pro is the wired member of the Everything Presence family: 802.3af PoE and Ethernet alongside Wi-Fi, plus a 25m mmWave sensor, a 6m tracking radar and a 12m PIR all fitted as standard rather than as add-ons. It does not replace the Presence One, which the vendor still sells alongside it. Pick the Pro when you can run a cable and want the sensor off Wi-Fi; pick the One when you cannot.

Standout: The only sensor in the Everything Presence line with Ethernet and 802.3af PoE, and it fits both radars and a PIR as standard.

Reasons to hesitate

• Home Assistant only: no Apple Home, Google Home, or Alexa support
• the CO2 module is an extra purchase rather than part of the base sensor
• tuning two radars and a PIR together takes more calibration work than a single-sensor motion detector

Best for

• Home Assistant households that already run PoE and want presence sensing off Wi-Fi
• rooms where a single mmWave sensor has not been reliable enough on its own

Avoid if

• you want a sensor that works with Apple Home or Alexa
• you have no Ethernet where the sensor needs to go and the Wi-Fi models would do

Privacy and local-control notes

Runs ESPHome firmware and talks to Home Assistant over the local network with no vendor cloud account. The Ethernet option means a Pro can be wired into the network and kept off Wi-Fi entirely, which is about as private as a networked sensor gets.
