The Lightstrip Plus is Hue's standard LED strip. It displays one color along its entire length, which is the key difference from the more expensive Gradient strip that can show multiple colors at once. For under-cabinet lighting, shelf accents, or cove lighting, one color is usually all you need, and this does it well. The strip is cuttable at marked intervals and extendable with add-on strips up to 10 meters. Color quality and brightness are solid, bright enough for practical kitchen under-cabinet use. The main argument against it is price. Generic Zigbee LED strips from brands like Gledopto do similar single-color work for significantly less, though without the polished Hue app experience.
