Which one to buy
Pick the socket first: A19 for standard lamps, BR30 for recessed cans, E12 for chandeliers and sconces, GU10 for track and accent spots.
Among the A19s, the White Ambiance is the one I'd put in most rooms; it covers the 2200K to 6500K white range without the color premium, and the plain White is fine for closets, hallways and garages where 2700K warm dimming is all you need.
Save the White and Color for the living room, and remember that every one of these needs a Hue Bridge or a Zigbee coordinator - there is no standalone Wi-Fi mode.
I own and have tested Philips Hue White A19 (5/5) and Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 (5/5). I haven't run the others, so those picks are based on the spec sheet and what other Home Assistant users report.
