Which one to buy

The Lock Pro is the easier buy if you already own a SwitchBot Hub 2: Bluetooth local control for Home Assistant, Matter through the hub, and a price that's easier to stomach.

The Lock Ultra is the flagship, but fingerprint, NFC and keypad entry come from the separate Keypad Vision accessory rather than the lock body, so its real price is lock plus keypad.

Either way, initial calibration runs through the SwitchBot app, and remote access through the hub brings some cloud dependency back in.

I haven't run any of these; the picks are based on the spec sheets and what other Home Assistant users report.
